This section of the guide focuses on locating international law instruments (treaties, conventions, resolutions, etc.). Many IGOs and NGOs produce documents essential to researching areas of refugee law. Most often, the websites of these organizations provide access to the documents. If not, try a Google search for the name of the document, see if there is a collection of documents in print (search Lawcat), or ask a librarian for assistance.
In addition to the Refugee Convention and Protocol there are a number of other relevant human rights treaties, declarations, and other instruments related to refugee law. For a good explanation of international documents and bodies, see Refugee Protection: A Guide to International Refugee Law.
