Casemaker, another popular low-cost option for legal research, has merged with Fastcase.
Every state bar association, and many metro, county, and specialty bar associations, offer Fastcase as a free bar member benefit.
Casetext is a database that contains federal cases and statutes, as well as state cases and statutes above the trial court level. It includes red flags on cases that are no longer good law, links to cited cases, and black letter law cases containing points of law that have been settled.
