Today's Newspapers

National/Global - Factiva

Owned by Dow Jones & Company, includes over 32,000 news sources (newspapers, 600+ continuously updated newswires, television and radio transcripts, photos, etc.) from nearly every country, in 30+ languages, all updated daily at 3 a.m. and periodically throughout the day. Major sources including Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, USA Today, Forbes, Financial Times.

To see the most recent stories for a given publication, search for a generic term (you can even use "the"), limit Date to "In the last day" and find your newspaper/wire by pulling down the menu under Source and selecting the title from the type-ahead options.

Local/Regional - Access World News

Includes 121 California newspapers such as San Francisco Chronicle (1985-current), Sacramento Bee (1984-current), Contra Costa Times (1995-current),  and San Jose Mercury News (1985-current). Search categories include: California newspapers (121 titles), Greater Los Angeles (54 titles), major metropolitan titles (13 titles), Spanish-language news sources (48 titles), the World (almost 2000 titles), US (855 titles).

Try "Date Search" limited to today's date and/or add title, regional, or other filters to see today's local/regional news.

NYT, WSJ & Other - via Lexis+ (individual login required)

Generally same-day coverage, includes text (but may lack photos, figures, and images) from many US and international papers. Use the links below to browse a specific newspaper (the default Relevance sorted view will list today's stories first, but you can also search/filter by date and/or Sort by: Date (Newest to Oldest)
