Berkeley Law Career Development Office (CDO)

The Berkeley Law CDO is a one-stop shop for all career-related inquiries. No question is too trivial: the CDO provides industry-specific guidance on interview attire, interview lunch / dinner etiquette, appropriate mediums of response to offers for a position, etc. They can also address specific questions related to achieving professional balance: how to plan ahead for a career that appreciates and embraces caregiving responsibilities? How to best find a role that maximizes professional fulfillment?

The Office offers individual counseling appointments, targeted career planning, career programming, on-campus recruitment programs, summer and postgrad fellowship information, clerkship guidance, and much more.

B-Line is a resource available to Berkeley Law students and alumni for locating career opportunities, including full-time (permanent) employment, internships, judicial externships, and more. B-Line is also the platform that the CDO leverages for the On Campus Interviewing (OCI) programs: Early Interview Week (EIW) and the Fall Interview Program (FIP).
