Computing Guide: Study Rooms

A guide to computing at Berkeley Law.

Study Room Reservations

There are three small group study rooms (LL135, LL137, and LL139) and a conference room (LL163) in the Law Library that are available for student reservations. In order to view/reserve these rooms, please enter your @berkeley.edu email address on this page, then log in with your CalNet credentials when prompted:

https://www.mymazevo.com/

If you are logging in for the first time, you may see a message saying you are not configured properly to reserve a room. Please give the room planning staff time to configure your new account. If you are unable to reserve a room after one business day, please contact roomplanning@law.berkeley.edu for assistance.

In order to book one of the library group study rooms or the conference room, you must indicate that you are reserving the room for at least 3 people for a maximum of 2 hours.

To reserve a room, follow these steps:

  1. Under EVENTS, click on "Add New Event"
    • start typing "law student" in the Assign to an organization box
      • choose "Law Student Body study/meeting room requests"
    • start typing your name in the Contact box
    • skip the optional boxes
    • be sure to say your group has at least 3 people
  2. Click "Next"
    • enter a start and end time (the limit is 2 hours per reservation) and choose a date
  3. Click "Next"
  4. Check the box next to the room you want to reserve and click "Next"
    • name the event whatever you'd like, the rest is optional
  5. Click "Book Room" and you're done!

You can also book other rooms throughout the law school using the same site. For further details, instructions, and policies, visit the Law School Room Reservations page.

The Law Library is not responsible for the room reservation system or study room reservation management and we cannot help you with account or website issues or make/edit reservations on your behalf. If you have questions or run into a problem with your account/the website, please contact roomplanning@law.berkeley.edu for assistance.
