Student Computing Guide

Use this link to go to the comprehensive Computing Guide for all Berkeley Law students.

How to get computer support

Why might you need to contact computer support?

  • editorial office computers keep on crashing
  • the printer isn't printing anymore
  • our software isn't able to support our production needs

Unless you report the problem, there's no way that it will get fixed!

Journal office computers

Journal office computers and printers are supported by the Law School's IS&T Help Desk

To report a problem send an email to trouble@law.berkeley.edu and  Maro and include:
      • Your name and contact phone number          •  Location of computer/ printer needing servicing
      • Journal name and room number                    •  Description of problem needing to be addressed

Make certain to copy Maro- she will be able to provide journal office access to the Help Desk technician if no journal members are present.

Personal laptop computers

Personal laptop computers are supported by the Law Library's IS&T Help Desk

To request assistance with your personal laptop, send an email to studentcomputing@law.berkeley.edu, or during business hours walk-in support is available in LL121.
