Student Journals: Print on Demand

Print-on-Demand

Online journals are able to do small print runs of an issue for authors and the editorial office.  These are referred to as Print on Demand (POD).  This provides a much less expensive option than the typical offset printer runs.

The Journal Administrator can request a price quote for you if you provide the issue's page count, number of copies, and address to which you’d like them shipped.

Once your issue is complete, forward the following to the Journal Administrator who will then be able to submit your files and start your job.

  • PDFs of individual articles
  • Single pdf of the issue in its entirety (including frontmatter if you have)
  • Distribution:  addresses, email addresses, and quantity to send to authors/ editorial office etc.

Similar to our regular print publications, files are uploaded to KGL for composition services, and then transferred to and printed at Sheridan Printing.

Information on how and what to submit can be found on the File Submission tab
