Student Journals: Article Submission | Scholastica

Article Submission and Scholastica

All UC Berkeley Law Journals have accounts with Scholastica, an online service hub allowing authors to submit to multiple titles at the same time.

  • Each journal designates an administrator for the account, who can then create email notifications to various members for when manuscripts are received, withdrawn, or need special action.
  • Each Journal’s admin login email remains the same each year, with incoming editor prompted to update the password and journal editorial board members (contact Kira if you need your admin email address)
  • Streamlines process for journal editors to track submissions, and communicate with authors
  • Free for journals;  authors pay to be able to submit manuscripts

Accessing and Using Scholastica

Log in to the Scholastica website for detailed information on their services and helpful instructions and videos on how to update your editorial board, set up email notifications, and more effectively manage submissions.

To get started, go to Scholastica's Law Review Board Transition Cheat Sheet to get started on updating your journal's information for the new academic year.

They have very responsive customer support, and can arrange to train your journal members if needed.   Send an email to support@scholasticahq.com
